Konrad Lorenz Archive
In 2004 the KLI and the Lorenz family agreed to host the Konrad Lorenz Archive at the Institute. The archive mainly comprises correspondence from the period 1964-1989, as well as diaries, records, and photographs.
People interested in working on archive materials of Konrad Lorenz should contact the Scientific Director of the Konrad Lorenz Institute, Werner Callebaut, at werner.callebaut@kli.ac.at.
People interested in photographical material should contact the secretary of the KLI, at sec@kli.ac.at.
Film materials by Konrad Lorenz will soon be deposited at the Austrian Filmmuseum. Further information regarding these materials can be obtained from Wolfgang Schleidt, at wolfgang1@schleidt.org.

Ludwig von Bertalanffy Archive
A small collection of books and correspondence of Ludwig von Bertalanffy, one of the founding figures of the Theoretical Biology can be accessed via the KLI. The archive is owned by the Bertalanffy Center for the Study of System Science. It is located at the Department of Theoretical Biology, University of Vienna.
