ARRIVAL IN VIENNA
On Wednesday ISHPSSB-stuff will welcome you at the airport. They will also sell the "Wien-Karte" (a ticket for the whole week for € 12.50).

We recommend to take the Airport Bus to Wien Westbahnhof (rather than taking a cab from the airport to your hotel), and to continue by taxi from there. The bus costs only 5.80 Euro, whereas a cab from the airport could turn out to be quite expensive.
Alternatively, you can board tram number 5 from Westbahnhof (direction "Praterstern"), which will bring you
in the vicinity of most of the hotels listed above.
Tickets for both the Airport Bus and the Vienna public transportation system can be purchased from machines either before boardiing or on board. If you intend to use public transport throughout your stay in Vienna we recommand that you buy a "Wien-Karte," which allows you free access of the subway, trams and buses for the whole week (Monday - Sunday). The "Wien-Karte" costs only 12.50 Euro and can be purchased at many subway stations, including Westbahnhof.

The laptops will be Macs (which also read PC files) and will have Powerpoint and Keynote installed. If you use any other presentation software, please bring your own computer.
If you want to use slides, please contact the media person in the morning of your session.
